FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE DOCUMENTALES DE SANTIAGO (FIDOCS)

FIDOCS se ha configurado como el principal espacio de encuentro, difusión y competencia del cine de no ficción en Chile y Latinoamérica, abocado a promover el diálogo, la reflexión y formación de audiencias en torno al cine documental en un sentido amplio y en permanente transformación. En esta línea la Escuela FIDOCS cumple un rol fundamental, convocando año a año a más de cincuenta estudiantes de cine que participan de actividades formativas. Así mismo, buscando representar no sólo el estado del documental actual, sino el espíritu del cine contemporáneo, la programación explora los diversos caminos del cine documental y las derivas de la no ficción, seleccionando películas, cortometrajes, instalaciones y obras donde la pregunta por “Lo real” se aborda tensionando géneros y fronteras disciplinarias.

ART DIRECTION AND GRAPHIC DESIGN (2018)
FIDOCS has been configured as the main meeting, dissemination and competition space for non-fiction cinema in Chile and Latin America, dedicated to promoting dialogue, reflection and audience formation around the documentary in a broad sense and in permanent transformation. In this line, the FIDOCS School plays a fundamental role, convening more than fifty film students every year who participate in training activities. Likewise, seeking to represent not only the state of the current documentary, but the spirit of contemporary cinema, the program explores the various paths of documentary cinema and the drifts of non-fiction, selecting films, short films, installations and works where the question for " The real ”is addressed by tensioning genders and disciplinary boundaries.

ESCENARIOS EN MINIATURA
Para el desarrollo de toda la gráfica del festival, se elaboraron diversos escenarios en miniatura con los que se diseñaron las posteriores piezas gráficas. El concepto que acompaña el Festival hace años de "Ver es volver" acompañó la dirección de arte que planteaba en espacios y escenas comunes, como lo es velador, deterner a mirar (hacer foco) y descubrir estos pequeños habitantes.

MINIATUE SCENARIOS
For the development of all the graphics of the festival, various miniature scenarios were created with which the subsequent graphic pieces were designed. The concept that accompanied the Festival years ago of "Seeing is coming back" accompanied the art direction that it proposed in common spaces and scenes, such as a nightstand, stopping to look (focus) and discover these small inhabitants.
The photographs were in charge of the photographer Daniel Corvillón.
